I am a bit less than happy at the moment.
I can't remember where or when I first heard of the Absolute Write Water Cooler. Probably it was a link to the "Learn Writing with Uncle Jim" thread, but it might have been something else. It was after the Atlanta Nights sting, though, that I opened an account and started posting there.
I've been there now for well over a year. I hadn't been a part of a writers' community for about ten years. It's been a haven, a hang-out, an immensely valuable resource.
Had it not been for the Water Cooler, I would have never attended Viable Paradise.
I'm proud to be part of the Absolute Write Water Cooler community, and even more proud to know it'll be back within a day or two.
Oh, wait... maybe that's not pride. I think it's withdrawal.
